Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Labs are terrific family dogs. Everyone knows it. Once you live with one, it's hard to ever do without. Sully is no exception. He is a good, good boy with a huge heart and a giant will to forgive. Sully's family was getting ready to abandon him in a hotel room, and thankfully, a good samaritan got wind of it and rescued our dear boy. He was brought right away to HUA where we welcomed him with scrumptious treats and open arms, thinking his feelings were going to be very hurt. But Sully's family was probably never very nice to him, because he was thrilled to meet these excited people who couldn't wait to love on him. He thought it was great!

Sully is as healthy as a horse. He is a young, strong, smart, sweet dog who promises to be one lucky family's Best Dog Ever.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Amy Ellefson, from Omaha, Nebraska, sent him this message: "You are a beautiful boy! I hope that a loving, playful family is yours soon." Sully sends Amy many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
