Now living happily in Seattle, Washington.
Tamsin is a dear little boy who is trying to be brave in spite of the fact that the world scares him after being confined in a wretched puppy mill. He lived for years in a barn with scores of other dogs stacked in cages. There was no light, not even a window, and the stench was overwhelming. He was one of the only Dachshunds there and the puppy miller noted that she did not like Dachshunds. Tamsin can often be found hiding under his bed. He flips it over so that we don't see him at all. UPDATE: He has had extensive blood work done. Nothing has turned up of concern on his tests and he is putting on weight now. He might just be prematurely a little thin in the fur department. Lately he has had more bursts of energy and become more social. He has taken to running around the central care area and jumping into the laps of people he knows, tail wagging and looking for love. Quite a big turnabout for our formerly shy little guy!
