Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Olathe, Kansas.

Tippy is quite the character. He has decided that he prefers people over dogs. Perhaps he has not realized that he, too, is a canine. We're not sure. He will tolerate other dogs but they must be polite and calm or he will give them the evil eye. Tip just does not have time for naughty dog behavior. He loves to play with us, though! His favorite game is Wiggle the Fingers. It's a simple one. We Wiggle the Fingers and he tries to stop us. What a player! Tip finds this to be great fun. Tip came from a horrendous backyard breeding situation. For some reason, he is still HOUSE TRAINED. Just goes to show that perhaps, in his mind, he is just a tad above those individuals with which he dwells.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Margaret Majors, from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, sent him this message: "Hey, Tip! I can tell you are a spunky little redhead and you know how to keep those other dogs in line. I hope you get to be king of your very own castle very soon, and until then, I'm proud to be your Buddy!" Tip sends Margaret many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
