Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Tressa is the grandest of them all. Or so she tells all of her room-mates that are just quite beneath her. Tressa is a CZECHOSLOVAKIAN AKC CHAMPION SHOW DOG. We've never seen the likes of her! Unforunately for Tressa, she found herself being purchased by a breeder and thrown into a puppy mill in Iowa. Luckily, we got her out of there and into loving arms where she belongs. She is the queen of the shelter and all of the other dogs in the room. Because of her regal beginnings, Tressa believes that she should spend most of her time with people, and not those lowly DOGS. She tolerates them just fine, of course, but they are just not up to her own personal standards. Plus they bark when she is trying to get her beauty rest and that is just plain annoying. When Tressa first arrived, she was a bit fearful of us as her feelings were, justifiably, quite hurt. She has quickly come around to showing us her inner beauty (we could see her outer beauty right away, of course) and she's charmed us all to pieces.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Bonnie Faimon, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Hang in there, you darling girl, because we know that SOON you will find your forever home. We are very good at picking pups that are on their way to adoption, even though nobody may know it yet at the time. We will be thinking of you every day until your very own people discover you, and we'll be sending lots of good doggy energy your way! Love, Bonnie and the Lincoln Pack" Tressa sends Bonnie and her sweet pooches many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
