Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Tucker was raised in a home and it is quite obvious to everyone that a home is exactly where he should be. He lost his first place because he apparently had some trouble getting along with another male Chi. He has done a good job here at HUA meeting and making new friends and we haven't seen any aggressive behavior thus far. It may be that he did not like that one dog in particular or it may be that he is just picky when it comes to choosing pals, so a meeting with any potential fur siblings would be necessary. Tucker has wonderful house manners - he loves walks on his leash and uses the potty pads like a good boy. He adores car rides and frolicking about the yard. He is super loving to his people and understands everything we say to him. Typical of his breed, he's big on situating himself in a cozy lap to observe the troops. Tucker is a tiny, funny little lad needing that one place that he can call home for always.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Stacey Petersen, from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Tucker you are just a precious little one. I know HUA will find you a good home where you will be adored and snuggled. Until then, I will be so happy to be your buddy. Lots of love little one - Stacey Petersen" Tucker sends Stacey many grateful hugs and very big kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
