Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Golden, Colorado.

Unbelievably, this female, purebred, beyond beautiful puppy was abandoned by people somewhere in Small Town, Missouri. When found, she was filty, matted, hungry and well, a little put off at being thrown out. Siberian Huskies are well known for their intelligence and determination, and Tyne is no exception. She is a girl who knows her own mind and has decided that in order for things to go smoothly, she is the one who must run them. She lives with two male Lab puppies that are bigger and stronger than she is, but those guys do not stand a chance of calling the plays when Tyne is around. They have given up even trying. Tyne is exhuberant, crafty, smarter than most adult dogs in the place, and an absolute riot to behold. She loves playing with all the other dogs and gives them great ideas. The toys here at HUA are apparently quite superb and Tyne cherishes them. Though she is still just a baby, she is quick to pick up on what we expect of her and she is a well-behaved little lady when she's not bossing around the puppies with lower IQ's. They don't mind it, though, because Tyne is so pretty, and her eyes are so mesmerizing, that they'd do just about anything to be in her good graces. Tyne needs people that will make sure that she is a part of the family. She needs to be included in activities and never left alone for long stretches of time. Huskies do not like to be by themselves and will find all sorts of things to get into if they are not kept mentally stimulated. Although they are considered "easy keepers," they need to feel welcomed, loved and wanted. We are certain that Tyne does and will feel all of these things, and cannot wait to meet the lucky people that will be hers forever.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Donna Kutter, from Golden, Colorado, sent her this message: "Tyne, you are excruciatingly cute, and we hope to meet you soon!" Tyne sends Donna and her family many happy, grateful puppy hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
