Valiant

be my buddy
Labrador Retriever
Born: 01/24/2005
Large
85 lbs
Male

Homeard bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.

Valiant was found in the country, loping down the road, looking sad and downtrodden. We felt very sorry for the guy, because we could tell right off the bat that the only thing in world he wanted was comfort from humans. He didn't really care about the great food and funny toys. He didn't even want to rest on a big, fluffy bed. He just wanted us to tell him we love him and allow him to snuggle for hours on end in our laps. So, that's what we do and it is making him super duper happy. Valiant is a "leaner," and a loyal, devoted animal. He loves walks. He loves feeling safe. He loves scratches behind his floppy ears and kisses on the top of his head. He is an all around good, laid-back gentleman just looking for a place to call home.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Dina Barta, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Such a beautiful dog. Someone is looking for you to be part of their family. Hang in there Valiant. It will happen." Valiant sends Dina many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
