Vaughn

be my buddy
Weimaraner
Born: 07/15/2012
Large
70 lbs
Male

Homeward bound-adopted!

Happily living in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Vaughn appeared at a country home about 15 miles from the shelter. We think that a large litter of Weimerauner puppies was born somewhere in this area. When they weren’t in demand as people thought they were, the pups were sold or given away to people who really weren’t committed to having a dog. Vaughn is the specimen of health and a big, easy-going dog. He just wants to have fun and be loved. He is the ULTIMATE entertainer and goofball! He walks nicely on a leash and absolutely adores people.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddies, Lulu and Drummer Murtaugh and their parents, Ron and Tami, from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Vaughn,
You look as goofy as I do and have that special appeal people are looking for when they get a forever dog. Lulu and I have a great success rate on the dogs we spend our allowance on being buddies with, so don’t get too comfortable at HUA…you will be moving on to a new home soon. Take care. Drummer and Lulu (My mom and dad say hi too)" Vaughn loves the picture that Drummer and Lulu sent, and sends them many grateful kisses. He sends great big hugs to Tami and Ron, too!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
