Now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska.
Victoria was rescued from the Auburn pound when it was evacuated by the state. The woman who ran the place called herself a "rescuer." In reality, the animals there were suffering from such severe abuse that it was a miracle we found them alive. Victoria was in a tiny, filthy cubicle with her three puppies who were less than two weeks old. They had no food, no water and only wet and moldy wood chips for "bedding." Victoria had intestinal parasites and was very thin but still trying to feed and care for her babies. Once she arrived at HUA, Mama Victoria settled into the business of nursing her puppies back to health and she did a fine job of it! She loves to play with dogs her size and all people. Everyone is her friend. She is laid back and doesn't demand attention, but celebrates when people visit her. Victoria is also house trained and now that she has weened her puppies, she adores going for walks and is quickly getting back her girlish figure.
