Zoro

be my buddy
Miniature Pinscher
Born: 12/06/2009
Tiny
5 lbs
Male

Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Zoro came to HUA from a Missouri puppy mill. When he first arrived he was mad at the world because of all the bad things that happened to him at that horrible mill. Zoro is a smart young fellow though and it wasn't long before he realized that his circumstances had greatly improved. He was invited to be one of a special few dogs at the shelter who get to live in the sun room. Since he has been a resident there he has really come out of his shell. He is becoming a loving, sweet boy who now awaits the good things that come his way with great anticipation. This is a major turnabout for a dog who is used to anticipating only bad things to come his way. He has made major progress in a short time. We hope this spunky little boy will soon have a home of his own where all of the horrors of the puppy mill he grew up in will be very distant memories, washed away by love and family.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddies, Bridget Adams (and Kathleen Adams!), from Ohio, sent him this message: "Zoro: for Mother's Day, I wanted to get my mom (Kathleen Adams, the best mom in the world) the perfect gift. She loves all little animals, especially the ones in need, so we thought you'd be a great buddy for her. :) Sending lots of love and mothering your way!" Zoro sends Kathleen very happy Mother's Day wishes, and sends Kathleen and Bridget bouquets of little kisses and hugs of joy!
His Buddy, Rodney Richardson, from North Wales, Pennsylvania, sent him this message: "Hey Zoro! You look like you've had a tough time of it, but looks like your luck has changed for the better. All the best from your buddy in Afghanistan!" Zoro sends Rodney many happy, grateful hugs and kisses.

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
