be my buddy
Australian Shepherd
Born: 10/01/2011
Medium
35 lbs
Female

We're very proud of our Jasmine. She came from bad beginnings, living with a family that could not take proper care of her. She was deprived of the things all dogs deserve - love, attention, nutrition, and time. When she arrived at HUA she was fearful and wary of people. Over time, she has learned to trust and has overcome most of her fears. She has shown herself to be a devoted, appreciative girl who loves her caregivers to pieces! She is a beautiful girl who knows what it is to be in a bad situation and has taken full advantage of her good new life. The only thing left for Jasmine to accomplish is to find her forever home, surrounded by people who adore her and appreciate her resilience and loyalty.
Buddy Messages (3)
Her Buddy, Gail Brennan, from Union, NJ, sent her this message: "I am so proud of the progress that you have made in the year that you have been at HUA. If you are still available when we have a place for you in our home, I would love to have you come live with us. I've got my eye on you." Jasmine sends Gail LOTS of very happy kisses and is really pleased to know that she cares enough to keep watching!
Her Buddy, Lisa Giles, from Ft. Collins, CO, sent her this message: "You are such a lovely girl, Jasmine! My family sends you our love from Colorado! Your virtual sister, June, who is also a rescued gal, also sends you kisses and tail wags!" Jasmine loved the kisses from June, and sends the entire Giles family lots of love and kisses in return!
Her Buddy, Renee Sullivan, from North Platte, NE, sent her this message: "Jasmine, Your beautiful eyes could light up a room! One of these days, a family will come to take you home and give you all the love that you have always deserved. Until then, I'd love to be your Buddy!" Jasmine sends Renee lots of little kisses and many grateful cuddles of joy!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
