Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Nebraska.

This lovely young gal came to HUA from a Nebraskan puppy mill. Despite her awful beginnnings, she is the sweetest creature with nothing but adoration for humans. She has made tons of friends during her stay with us, and also has shown herself to be a lady around the other dogs. She's had a great time learning to walk on the leash and can run like crazy once she gets to the fenced-in yards. However, Nacora's main priority is cuddling, so once the play is out of the way we must offer our laps up for some quiet snuggle time. Nacora will make a great family dog and would love to be included in the comings and goings of the household. She is polite and friendly to everyone she meets and shines with happiness when she is in the company of people.

Her Buddy, Bob Bertz, from Madison, CT, sent her this message: "Nacora, you look like a beautiful young girl with lots of playful puppy antics up your sleeve to share with a new family! I know you'll find your very own people very soon who will love you forever. Until then, I'm sending you lots of cuddles!" Nacora sends Bob many grateful kisses and cuddles in return!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
