be my buddy
Manchester Terrier
Born: 09/03/2009
Small
11 lbs
Male

Pilgrim was found abandoned in a town near the shelter. He is one of those dogs that gets the staff, volunteers and visitors laughing wildly. He is a big player, loves his toys to no end, thinks everyone is his very best friend. He is curious as to the comings and goings and can be found bouncing up and down to get a look out of a window if he suspects there is fun on the other side. We think he may be part cat, as climbing up on human shoulders is a favorite activity. Once there, he will kiss you to pieces if you're not careful. Pilgrim is the perfect family dog - great with everyone and always out for a hopping good time.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Nancey Evans, from Charleston, WV, sent him this message: "Hi there pilgrim. I have been trying to get around to sponsoring you so that you can be happy until you get your forever home. I know it will be soon because you are such a sweetie!" Pilgrim sends Nancey many happy kisses and very enthusiastic hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
