Homeward bound-adopted!

Now living happily in Lincoln, NE.

Roxi was rescued by a family from a backyard breeder. They found her sitting in a cage piled on top of other cages when she was a big puppy. They paid for her just to get her out of there and kept her as long as they could. She has been well loved. Roxi lacks some self confidence, but she has learned a lot after her awful beginning in life. She is a little standoffish with strangers, but once she’s figured out that people care about her, she is a happy girl.
Buddy Messages (1)
Her Buddy, Juli Collins, from Omaha, NE, sent her this message: "Roxi, you are so precious! I'm glad that you are being nurtured by the very nice people at HUA, and I bet your beautiful brown eyes will melt someone's heart soon, and you will be adopted by your very own special family! I'm sending you my love until then!" Roxi sends Juli many grateful hugs and lots of very happy kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
