Vigo

be my buddy
American Longhair
Born: 03/16/2008
Small
12 lbs
Male

This beautiful creature was in a home, but his owners decided to abandon him at a vet clinic because they no longer wanted a cat. Vigo was heartbroken and confused. He is a sensitive little guy and it took some convincing before he would allow us to love him. He is much better now and likes us quite a lot. He approaches for attention and purrs mightily once he gets it. Vigo is neutered and declawed and very much in need of a real home.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddy, Kari Kuhlman, from Columbus, NE, sent him this message: "You are a beautiful boy, Vigo, and maybe I can visit you one of these days! You'll find your forever home one day soon, sweetie!" Vigo sends Kari many happy purrs and lots of little kitty kisses!
His Buddy, Mary Allen, from Omaha, NE, sent him this message: "Vigo, I am very happy and proud to be your buddy. I'm sure you were very confused when you didn't go home, but you are a brave and beautiful boy and I know a wonderful family will adopt you soon. I love you!" Vigo sends Mary many grateful purrs and little snuggles!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
