Homeward Bound - Adopted!

Now living happily in Omaha, NE

This perfect gentleman was found as a stray in a small town near HUA. His vet check revealed some cancerous lumps that were promptly removed. Although there is a chance of recurrence, Willard is feeling just fine at the moment and is the gentlest of all creatures. He loves going for walks and sniffing about, trying to determine what critters had been there before him. He adores sunning himself in his yard, observing the comings and goings of daily life at a busy shelter. We pray that a wonderfully kind-hearted person will see this dear boy as the treasure he is, and provide for him the loving home he so very much longs for.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddies, Lori Yaussi and her family, from Lincoln, NE, sent him this message: "Willard, you beautiful boy! Your eyes look like you are politely & quietly saying 'Please pick Me!'. I hope soon a loving family sees this in you, too! Much Love, Lori, Brian, Noah, Ash, Emmy and Tucker" Willard sends the Yaussi family many grateful hugs and very happy kisses!
His Buddy, Alice Wofsy, from Carney's Point, NJ, sent him this message: "You are so adorable! Very soon I hope you'll bring joy to your new fur-ever home." Willard sends Alice many gentlemanly kisses and very happy hugs!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
