be my buddy
Born: 01/15/2013
29 lbs

HOMEWARD BOUND - ADOPTED - now living happily in Omaha, Nebraska!

Wilmot was brought to HUA by a family that could no longer take proper care of him. He is an outstanding boy with excellent manners and a gentle disposition. Although still technically a puppy, Wilmot is pretty laid back, although he does really love romping with a good squeaky toy. Wilmot will blend perfectly into just about any family situation. He adores children of all ages and is a gentle boy around the wee ones. He's an easy going, well-behaved guy who likes to have a good time and happily soaks up attention from all people.
Buddy Messages (2)
His Buddy, Ann White, from Lincoln, NE, sent him this message: "Hi Wilmot! Now you've got TWO buddies. A friend of mine had a Beagle and we had sooo much fun with her little guy. AND looking into your eyes I see a (big) hint of "I wanna play and have fun" --- just like my friend's pup did. You just can't WAIT to get into your forever home -- and let the fun begin!!! I know you love HUA, but it will be a happy time when you leave with your forever family!!!" Wilmot agrees and sends Ann lots of gentle hugs and sweet kisses!
His Buddy, Payton Jones, from College Station, TX, sent him this message: "A Buddy for my 8 yr old grandson, so he can learn about animals who need someone to care about them." Sweet Wilmot will be glad to help Payton's grandson discover the importance of caring for animals in need, and sends them both many grateful hugs and kisses!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
