be my buddy
Lab/Boxer mix
Born: 02/16/2014
Large
60 lbs
Male

Woodstock arrived at HUA from a small town along with his brothers and sister after his mother passed away from anti-freeze poisoning when the pups were only two weeks old. They are all things puppies should be: Active, curious, and loving. While his siblings zeroed in on the toys and the big yards to zoom around in, Woodstock is very focused on people. He quickly discovered the joys of sitting on laps and being petted, basking in the attention. He finds people to be plenty entertaining, and he can't wait to have one of his very own!

Woodstock is a small fellow now but is expected to weigh about 60 pounds fully grown.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Chris Evers, from Lincoln, NE, sent him this message: "Dear Woodstock--what a handsome boy you are!! You are going to make some family so proud to have you! Hugs and kisses from your buddy!!!" Sweet Woodstock loved the hugs and kisses and sends Chris tons of happy puppy kisses and many grateful hugs in return!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
