Zuke Featured

be my buddy
Yorkie Mix
Born: 03/05/2013
Small
10 lbs
Male

Zuke was brought to HUA by his owners who became unable to care for him. He is about the cutest little imp we've ever seen, and he's got the personality to match. He is a goofy kid who thinks he's a 100 pound tough guy. He likes to play coy when meeting new people, but we've figured him out. Present Zuke with a toy and he's yours forever. He's got nobody here fooled and we think he's a riot. He's done a great job learning to walk on the leash and loves recess time outside in the yards. He is a cute little bugger with a mind of his own and quite the ability to get us laughing at his silly antics.
Buddy Messages (1)
His Buddy, Latricia Kendall, from Peru, NE, sent him this message: "Hey bud, I love seeing you, but can't wait to see you go. Make sure you show adopters what you show us, and you'll be set. Be a good boy, Trish and Lilly" Zuke is thrilled to have Tricia as his daily caregiver at the shelter, and sends her happy kisses every day!!! And kisses to Lily, too!

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
