Cocker Spaniel | Born: Jan 02, 2000 | Weight: 27 lbs. | Gender: Female
Nedda was rescued from a puppy mill in Nebraska. Originally, she was worried that new people might not be nice to her, but she has now overcome her fears. She loves the big spaces to run and play with her friends, but she is happiest snuggling up to us on a blanket, getting pats and compliments on her beauty. Nedda is also very patient and gentle with children, which we think is ouststanding given her horrible beginnings! Nedda is a beautiful, dear girl with a heart of gold. Our hearts break for her thinking of all the years she spent in a horrible puppy mill, but we're so proud of her for putting the past behind her and letting us love her.
Her Buddies, Jody and Brian McLaughlin, from San Jose, California, sent her this message: "Nedda, You look like a sweet girl and we know you will find a loving home soon. We send our best wishes. Jody and Brian from California" Nedda sends Jody and Brian many happy, grateful kisses and hugs.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
