Dachshund | Born: Jan 01, 2001 | Weight: 15 lbs. | Gender: Male
In most ways Ben is a typical Dachshund - full of life and personality. He is a gorgeous boy. He loves to play ball with his bell ball and adores de-stuffing squeak toys. Although Ben is very loving with those he knows, he has been a fugitive from justice due to his very bad behavior with strangers. He has been wanted for questioning in connection with several incidents, therefore he has been moved to a permanent foster home where he is kept safely away from strangers. He is exceptionally happy there and we are so glad to provide this wonderful foster home for Ben so that he no longer has to flee from the police and live in fear of being thrown in doggie jail.
For just $25 per month you can make a difference in the life of this Sweetheart who will be staying with us at the sanctuary forever. Your love and support are very much needed and appreciated.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
