Poodle | Born: Jan 01, 1999 | Weight: 13 lbs. | Gender: Male

Benny is a small Poodle. He's a smart fellow who has most likely been abused. He is wary of people. When he learns to trust a person then he is very loving to them. These photos were taken when he first came in. He's very darling now with the hair cut back from his eyes. He was born in 1999 and weighs 13 pounds. He has been neutered and is current on health care. Benny needs a person with a huge heart for animals to adopt him and help him learn that he can trust again. He needs a person who really understands and loves dogs.

Buddy Message

be my buddy

His Buddy, Mary Deppa from Virginia, sent him this message: "Hi there Benny. Boy, I bet you feel very lucky to now be with people that you can trust and ones that understand your fears. I hope one day very soon that the special someone of your very own shows up to take you home. Until then, please know that we are here for you and your and your friends are in our thoughts and prayers. Mary, Beanie, Billy and Princess" Benny sends them all happy kisses.

His Buddies, Amy and Boyd Uehling, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent him this message: "Benny, you are the spitting image our our white toy poodle. His name is Benny, too! We pray for the day when a special family will find you and give you the home and attention you deserve! I know they they will be blessed with your sweet face just like we have been with our Benny. In the mean time, keep playing and having fun and give lots of kisses to the wonderful people that keep you safe. Love, Boyd, Amy, 'Ike', 'Jaxson', and 'Benny' Uehling"

Thanks for Visiting Our Animals!

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
