Maltese | Born: Aug 28, 1999 | Weight: 9 lbs. | Gender: Female
Jonquil was rescued from a horrid Nebraska puppy mill. Her many many hard years of breeding and neglect really showed. She lost 14 teeth at her first vet visit and had a multiple mastectomy to remove mammary tumors caused by all of the breeding. She is a trooper and is doing very well now. She has developed quite a personality and is having a wonderful time being free for the first time in her life. Jonquil is a female Maltese. She was born 08/28/99 and weighs 9.4 pounds.
Her Buddy, Stephanie Bonnema, from Lincoln, Nebraska, sent her this message: "Jonquil, Josie (my maltipoo) and I hope that you find a wonderful forever-family soon. You certainly deserve to be pampered and spoiled. Josie would be happy to give you tips on how to live life as a spoiled maltese." Jonquil sends many grateful, happy kisses to Stephanie and her sweet Josie girl.
Her Buddy, Debbie Pellitteri, from Garden City, New York, sent her this message: "Hi sweet little angel, hope I can help you have a happy and healthy life. Hugs and Kisses, Debbie and Daisy" Jonquil sends Debbie and Daisy many happy, grateful kisses.
Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. If you are interested in adopting a dog, we can give you more information on each dog if you click the Adoption Info & Application link above. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
