Nautica was rescued from a commercial breeding facility, a former hog confinement used for dogs, in Arkansas. Nautica is a lovely little girl who wants desperately to trust humans. She is not all the way there yet, but she is watching with wide eyes and hoping that things will be ok. She is very estute, wanting to know what is going on, deciding if she wants to be a part of things and yet not quite sure it's true that she is invited to be part of the lives of the humans. Nautica is liking her new home at HUA. She laps up her good soft food with whole vegetables in it and loves to snuggle in her warm blankets. She loves play times with the other dogs in the yard. She is still nervous, but with time she will settle in, and realize that this wonderful new life is truly meant for her. Nautica is a female Affenpinscher. She weighs 14.5 pounds. She was born 9/9/05.
