Prince lived the first five years of his life outside without shelter. It gets terribly cold in Kansas and in the winter he had icicles hanging from his fur. No one ever paid any attention to him. He was rarely given food or water. The authorities would not help him. Finally he was able to escape and found his way to a kind person who brought him to HUA. He's a lovely dog who is so grateful for attention and love and good food. He's very smart and totally devoted to the people who love him. Because Prince has been here so long and is so happy and devoted to the only people who have ever shown him love and kindness he will happily live at the sanctuary forever.
