Homeward Bound - Adopted!
Now living happily in Lincoln, NE
Sweet Banjo was brought to HUA by his owner, who said he was the most perfect companion, except for one small problem. Banjo has a tendency to bark a bit wildly at such things as doorbells or outsiders walking down the street. It would seem as though he is protecting, but the darling little beastie doesn't have a mean bone in body. He is simply a tad excitable at times. Banjo has done beautifully at the shelter. He is the friendliest of little guys and runs runs runs with his friends at recess. He adores people, so much so that he is a perfect angel during grooming and thrives on the attention. He is a fabulous leash walker and knows to sit, stay and shake. There are many things that can be done to get Banjo's personality flaw under control and we have plenty of suggestions for potential adopters . This precious boy is very much worth a little extra patience and time until he understands what is expected of him.
