HOMEWARD BOUND - ADOPTED - now living happily in Lincoln, NE!
Little Bear was brought to HUA when his person was no longer able to care for him. This boy was just the happiest, cutest thing but it wasn't long before we noticed some unusual behavior. Bear appeared to be disoriented and clumsy at times. Bile acids testing revealed issues with his liver readings, and Bear was placed on a daily medication called Denamarin as well as a milk thistle supplement. Thankfully, our little guy's readings are back to normal and so is his equilibrium. Little Bear is adorable and he knows it. If things don't go his way, he has mini fits of temper designed to intimidate but instead are met with giggles. Look at this face. How in the world do we discipline? But alas, we try. Little Bear has been told to stand down from an argument. He does not always listen. Then he turns on the charm like no other and all is forgiven. His eyesight is not so great due to the formation of cataracts but Little Bear maneuvers around just fine.
