Homeward bound-adopted!
Now living happily in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Mojo was rescued by a kind stranger in a small town in Nebraska. He had been tied to a tree outside for his ENTIRE LIFE. His new friend brought him to HUA and asked us to help him. Of course we would help him. Having had little to no human contact, Mojo miraculously cuddled right up to us up for hugs and kisses. These photos were taken moments after he arrived. Look how starved for affection he was. He wasn't at all angry with humans. He never showed any signs of thinking we were bad. During his vet appointment, Mojo had to have 15 teeth removed to cure his dental disease. He was an otherwise healthy chap with an endearing spirit. We appreciate also that Mojo like to keep his space clean. He is a dear gentleman longing for an INDOOR home with people who don't mind a dog in their laps at all times.

Hearts United for Animals is a national no-kill shelter, sanctuary and animal welfare organization. Hearts United for Animals does long distance adoptions if there are safe flights and we have volunteers in the area to do a home visit. We require an application, references and a home visit to adopt one of our dogs. Our dogs are all spayed or neutered and are current on health care. We can cat test a dog if requested. Buddies are people who support the dog and send them love while they are waiting for their new home. The dog does not live with the buddy.
