Annie

Annie came to the Shelter as a tiny pup on death row. Since she was terribly shy and ran from people, Annie did not find a new home for months, and when she did the people despaired of keeping her because she moped and refused to eat. It was a joyful Annie who returned to the Shelter, happy to be with us and her dog clan. Annie, the most amiable of dogs, almost wiggles herself in half over attention. One day a visitor to the Shelter said, "That is the ugliest dog I have ever seen." We were rather shocked because we think Annie is gorgeous. But it matters not at all because she has already won the beauty contest. She is Miss Congeniality.
