Hope
There was no hope for this little girl.
She was desperately ill in a puppy mill in Kansas. When HUA rescued
this most precious and delicate of little girls she weighed only
2 pounds, she had lost all of her hair from malnutrition and stress,
and her teeth were so rotten that she was in renal failure. She
went immediately to our vet who said there was hope for her. So
she was named Hope.
Hope has touched the heart of everyone
who has meet her. If you ever wondered about what puppy mills
were like, all you have to do is look at Hope's face. Look at
the expression in her eyes. Look at her emaciated body. Then tell
everyone you know never to buy a dog in a pet store.
Hope is happy but her health is
precarious. We have to be very careful that she eats many small
meals a day. We are very protective of this miracle girl.
