Rillo was on death row in Texas, and he was lucky enough to catch a ride with the fine volunteers with Pilots N Paws. That is how he ended up here at the HUA shelter. Rillo is silly, affectionate, house trained and playful. He loves belly rubs - they're his very favorite. He can be a little shy upon first meeting but he comes around quickly and becomes quite the lovebug. Although this beauty gets along with other dogs, he is excitable in fun situations and a very submissive dog may not appreciated his energy. We do know that he is not comfortable around small children, so a house with older, calmer kids would be the right one for him. Rillo has completed his Obedience Training and knows basic commands.
