Theo Pug was found wandering around all by himself in a small town. He was quite relieved to come to HUA, where he felt safe and loved immediately. Theo is a wild man--he runs and plays in the beautiful meadows all day long, so happy to have the freedom to do so. We noticed, although the sight of Theo zooming was adorable, that he was also prancing in a strange gait that had indications of an injury or illness. Theo was diagnosed with Legg-Calve Perthes Disease. Surgery corrected this issue so Theo no longer has to face the fear of debilitation arthritis down the road. He was happy before his operation and we did not think this delightful Pug could get happier, but he did. Theo loves his dog friends, his humans and his toys.
